Cardinal Numbers
This are
regular numbers that we use to make Math operations. They express quantities.
They are said with the name of the number.
12 twelve
35 thirty
389 three hundred eighty-nine
6,790 six thousand, seven hundred and ninety
Ordinal numbers
Ordinal
numbers express order. The first three have specific names. To the rest we add
the ending “th”. Examples:

twenty fifth

thirtieth 40th fortieth 100th
one hundredth
Years
Numbers that
express years, only identify a moment in time, so when we say them in a way that
they are easy to identify. Here are some examples:
1400 14/00 fourteen
hundred
1826 18 / 26
eighteen – twenty-six
1504 15/ 04 fifteen
– oh- four
1031 10/31 ten
– thirty one
2017 two thousand seventeen or 20/17
twenty – seventeen
Phone Numbers and Other Digital Numbers
Phone numbers
and other identification numbers are considered digital numbers. That is, we
say them one by one. This is done to avoid confusion.

Notice that
when you have a zero (0) you say, “Oh”.
When there
are two numbers that are the same you can say, “Double”.
